imperfect child pt.1It's not my mother's fault. She suffered emotional harassment. Abuse of the heart.

After that time, all she wished to do was disappear.
Blend in.
Camouflage with the surroundings.
But her thoughts filled with terror, every time the spot light shone.

She tried her best to appear like the rest.
Normal.
The normal of whom she feared. Their gaze creeping, reaching, breaking her spirit. A pack of wolves honing in on their prey. Encircling, with every step. Closing the distance. Snapping her delicate bones. She never had a chance. (So fragile, so young.)

The silence of time and separation.

Sadly,
With ten years passed;
Their taunts

our cityscapewe don't need their technology. we don't need it.
or else we'll be like the rest of them,
caught in the ruins of a love built too high,
unable to stand the quakes and tremors to come.

can't we keep this city simple and happy?
don't risk our city. we'll lose it all
to disasters brought forth by mother
she'll knock us over once we climb the skies

you don't understand. continually longing for a city of scrapers
like the rest of them.
the towers, tops and altitudes.

please don't say goodbye. don't leave me in the dust.
Without you, this city is but ruins and no more.

Whoa this is awesome! I think you did an awesome job illustrating how the cafe looks like, with all the details and everything. It looks pretty realistic, espcially the bar.

Like peppermintjam had mentioned before, just stick with a vanishing point and the illust will be okay! Of course, to make your piece even more dynamic, you can always try a two point perspective.

but srsly, what do I really know haha I don't do detailed backgrounds myself lol =v="""

Woah!! Meki-Meki!! This is REALLY detailed!! I'm lovin' the traditional look here!! And the chandelier~Don't even get me started on that. XDD

For a first stab at perspective and backgrounds this is pretty darn good!!! The only nit-pick I might point out is that the perspective lines of the walls don't quite match up with the tables and the tiles. All of the objects in the room look really real, but if you keep a constant vanishing point then it'll enhance it more!

BUT--XD You don't have to listen to me/everything else about this picture is gorgeous. When I saw the thumbnail I just had to know who drew it! And when I saw that you drew it I smiled. : )
